The Anthem MRX540 is without question a way better sounding receiver than anything near its price. You will get spectacular sound for movies and this is one of the few surround recievers that also does justice to your music listening as well.

This receiver is 100 watts per channel which is enough power to drive almost any speaker. You are getting the Anthem ARC Room Correction in the box as well which is a HUGE advantage over almost any other surround receiver.

Ultimately, if you’re willing to spend a bit more the Anthem receivers are worth every penny.
